The Obama Burger

Last September for The 2nd Annual PIMP MY BURGER Competitive BBQ I created a true culinary masterpiece. The Obama Burger had everything to be desired in creative burger art (deliciousness, creativity, political awareness), yet it was awarded only the 2nd place award. If I've learned anything from sassy 1990's T-shirts, and I've learned a lot, it's that 2nd place is the first loser! Who could have possibly won 1st place you ask? Well, non other than the head judge's girlfriend. How convenient! If you would like to protest this appalling indecency e-mail Adam at adamboyd13@gmail.com with the subject "Rob was Robbed!"

On a lighter note I have finally taken the time to share the ingredients of The Obama Burger with the internets, so you can enjoy one yourself!

- Patty of your choice (All-American beef is preferred)
- JalapeƱo Cheddar bagel
- Whole slices of Pineapple
- Wickles hoagie & sub sandwich relish
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese
- Mayonnaise (Mix in fresh garlic, black and red pepper for some added awesomeness)

Toast the bagel. On the bottom bun place your patty, which should have the cheddar melted on it, then a whole piece of sliced pineapple. On top of that goes the Wickles relish, then the mayonnaise on the top bun. The last and MOST IMPORTANT STEP is to cut a hole in the middle of the completed burger. Use the bagel holes as a guide. When you're done you should be able to see through The Obama Burger, making it a beautiful edible "O."

Since I first made my Obama burger back in September 2008 there have been several other versions by many burger artists. Mine may not be the first, or the best... but I have a dream that one day Mr. Obama will eat one.
